Where to start with what I like about Portabella....the people that work there are amazing! Friendly, welcoming and eager to make your dining experience perfect! The atmosphere is unique, there is beautiful art work on the walls, it's busy but feels intimate. And the food is perfection! Everything from the home made soups that can warm your soul, the delicious signature main dishes, to the desserts that will make your taste buds go crazy! You will want to go back again and again!

We were lucky to get a table as we didn't have reservations. They were able to fit us in. We enjoyed the local winery choices and our white wine came chilled to our liking. Staff was extremely friendly and we enjoyed the complimentary bread. We both tried pastas and really enjoyed our meals. Overall we loved the menu choices and it was the best meal we had in Prince Edward County during our stay.

This is a casual bistro serving soups, salads, sandwiches and pasta they can pretty much make all their pastas vegetarian. The kids devoured the creamy mushroom pasta, which was seriously sensational. I also loved their salads and soups. Also don't miss out on dessert. The staff here is great! They are extremely sweet and accommodating. I highly recommend Portabella if you are in PEC

Our Airbnb recommended this place. We stopped by on a Saturday night and were seated right away. The menu had a good selection, except that most of the pasta is Alfredo based. It would have been nice to have some good red sauce options. That said, the Alfredo sauce turned out to be delicious (as was the pickerel! . What a pleasant surprise! Very laconic menu, I had the soup dujour which was a tomato and beat puree with the fedichini alfredo. Everything was magic, most notably the service. I can't forget the beautiful local pilsner from Parsons brewing co. Dont forget to tip the wait staff.

The sauces they make for their pastas are unique and full of flavor. A bit slow when busy, but the service and atmosphere are tops. Save room for desert.

I love the restaurant in Picton. Can't wait to come back on the 21st to claim my prize for the basket. Had a fantastic lunch today!

Great place with delicious homey food. The bacon burger and soup is really good. Service is very good and the decor is charming.
