I cannot believe I grew up so close to Pasta Max Cafe and am just now trying it! I came here on a weekend night and the place was packed! I can't remember if they take reservations or not, but if they do, I highly recommend making them, because the place was packed! The dining area is small, yet charming and intimate. The restaurant is locally owned and has been up and running for over 30 years. It is definitely a staple in Henry county. I love the complimentary bread service they offered. The rolls were light fluffy drizzled with olive oil and a touch of garlic. It was hard to eat just one, but I wanted to save room for my pasta entrée. We parked on the street as there was no parking lot available, and the wet floors made it very slippery. Our waitress, Holly, was very friendly and greeted us within 2 minutes. The decor was nice and the atmosphere was cozy. I enjoyed a good red wine while my husband loved the not too sweet sweet tea. For dinner, I ordered angel hair pasta with a lemon butter sauce and my husband had scallops and shrimp. The portions were generous and we were served delicious garlic rolls. I also had a Caesar salad which was tasty, while my husband's house salad was crispy and good. The prices were reasonable and we ended up with enough food for two meals. This restaurant is a hidden gem in McDonough! I visited during a work trip and it happened to be conveniently located near my destination. The staff recommended the Black Pepper Pappadelle, so I ordered it right when they opened at 11am. I was seated promptly and served two pieces of garlic bread along with a delicious minestrone soup. The portion size of the pasta dish was generous and the pricing was reasonable. I particularly enjoyed the flavorful minestrone soup. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making for a pleasant dining experience.

I would give this restaurant a 4.5 rating, if I could. The only downside is the parking situation and occasionally dirty plates or utensils, but that happens everywhere, right? The food is absolutely delicious – you'll definitely need a takeout box. The salads are tasty, although I'm not a fan of green vegetables personally. The city is lovely as well, with an impressive mural on the outside of the building. The wait can be a bit long, but it's worth it. And the rolls are simply amazing! Reserva una mesa ahora

This is a great local spot for pasta. I've been several times and have never had a bad experience. All of their pizzas are good. The pastas I've had are pretty good. All the soups are really good as well. The servers are always very nice and helpful. This is a probably not the best place if you want to bring a large group though. I wouldn't bring more than 4 people at a time because the restaurant is kind of small and they can only do so much. Overall I'm going to keep coming back.

Pasta Max is a hidden gem within McDonough. If you're not from the area, then you probably wouldn't know about it. Located in the McDonough square (downtown McDonough) this small intimate spot is definitely a spot to try for all the Italian lovers. The service was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious and the rolls they serve are addicting! This place was established in 94' I believe and I can see why it is still in business.

Following a lovely day of strawberry picking at Southern Belle Farm we ventured to a small Italian place that only serves wine and some classic Italian dishes. My son and I enjoyed a dish of chicken parm, which was plentiful, well seasoned and the noodles were homemade. Service was quick which I can always appreciate with a hung 20 month old.

Great food! Great Service! We had the bruschetta soo good. Chicken breast over pasta with lemon, capers and cream and I had the minestrone. I can't wait to go back to try more. There were so many things I wanted to taste. Definitely worth Reserva una mesa ahora
