This is a beautiful restaurant with the perfect ambiance for a romantic dinner date or a celebration with friends. If you like good food, choose Patio on Guerra! Service is a bit slow, but the food is worth the wait. For an appetizer, I tried the CrabMeat Tower. It is jumbo lump crab meat marinated in citrus juices, mixed with slices of fresh mango; stacked over chunks ofavocado with truffle oil. IT IS A MUST HAVE. For an entrée, I had the Pistachio Salmon. Pan seared pistachio andalmond crusted salmon with a ginger beurre blanc sauce. The salmon was a little dry, but still good. MCALLEN, TX Our experience really did take us out of the valley and felt like we were tourist in our own city, starting from the entrance we were warmly welcomed, complimentary water was brought almost immediately as we were seated. Our table was decorated as we requested, the staff had a great attitude, very well informed of their menu.. as should be. The food and the service was excellent but we sat next to a group of people that were too loud. I would have preferred to sit by the corner or away from a party table. I asked for the corner table but I was told it was reserved. The whole time we were there the table we asked for was never occupied
Great ambience, impeccable service and delicious cuisine. Ruben our server truly made our date night enjoyable and memorable. From the tuna tower appetizer, to the bonein ribeye and unique dessert along with pleasant live music made for a wonderful dining experience
