Patisserie Bigot - Reserva de mesa

This patisserie is almost the first thing you see once you step in to the old town’s main street in Amboise. Thanks to its central location it is pretty crowded most of the day. Sitting at one of the tables at the outdoor section and watching people passing by is a great pass time here. Service can be a bit flawed due to crowds. As for the desserts, the ones we have chosen did not turn out to be the best we tried in France. Nevertheless I can recommend this place for a coffee break, though it’s a bit touristy its central location and overall ambiance makes it bearable. Prices are a bit high

Looks wonderful but we sat, and waited, and waited, but no service…so we left! We went in and spent some time looking at all the beautiful cakes and chose what we wanted. We sat at a table and were given menus. After watching various other visitors arrive, order and be served whilst we were ignored, for about 30 minutes, we decided to leave and go elsewhere. Shame as the cakes did look lovely (despite the flies everywhere! .

We're having fun but expensive. a priori institution, very well placed, just below the castle. impeccable service, quick and warm. Less at the cash. between pastries and restaurants. No alcohol but good omelettes-small. and incredible desserts but paying dearly. min the cake. very nice decoration in the room under beam, the other is cold and hideous.

Great quick breakfast spot. Wonderful pastries , omlettes, etc. We used it for breakfast every morning while in Amboise Good for a quick lunch as well. Location is great, right in the center of town. Get their early , I believe it opens at 9:00 Seating is a little tight, and they can get very crowded at which point service becomes naturally slower. Reserva una mesa ahora

very well, we have tasted the 'Royal Father,' 'the kisses of ambroise and 'the confites clementines.' Clementines is really a surprise. Wonders for gourmets. not 5 stars because we did not taste everything and we did not test the service in the room.

My wife and I visited Amboise in July of 2023, got incredible pastries at the Patisserie Bigot, best Ecler I have ever eaten. The ladies at the patisserie are very pleasant and helpful

Excellent pastry. the nougat of the towers is divine there. Make a stop on the terrace facing the entrance of the castle with a coffee and crunchy pastry is worth visiting.

Excellent croissants and very friendly service. We had breakfast there on two consecutive mornings. Highly recommend Reserva una mesa ahora

beautiful sign offering varied and excellent cakes, the welcome is pleasant. attention to quality at a price

fairly emblematic address of the city. a must-have step to taste good products, or to buy sandwiches.
