Perhaps nothing special to the French to buy excellent fresh bread and dainty, refined pieces of patisserie every single day, but being tired of hefty German yeasty cakes and deprived after years of flavourless English cakes this place is cake heaven. Why aren't people raving about this one? We had bread (crusty baguette that actually tastes good), sandwiches (freshly made from baguette) , dainty cakes (heavenly) and a whole lemon tart (unspeakably good), and I feel sorry for myself for not living closer to this amazing place. Maison Moulin was once a centrepiece of both the Cordes gastronomic scene and the wider area around. Monsieur and Madame Moulin ran the place superbly well and oversaw the production of a wide range of viennoiseries, bread, cakes, ice creams, chocolates etc of the highest standard and quality. Sadly, this is no longer the case. M. Moulin retired nearly two years ago and the transfer of ownership means that this is not a place I would recommend. The standard and quality have fallen and the prices have risen. Not a good combination. Como este viaje lo planteamos low-cost, nuestra comida en Cordes sur Ciel se basó en un picnic casero que hicimos al lado del coche… Pero sí que queríamos tomar café en alguna cafetería.Bordeando la parte baja del casco antiguo, en la orilla a la carretera principal, nos encontramos esta pastelería…Era imposible decidir entre tantos y tantos pasteles con tan buena pinta! Se me hace la boca agua con tan solo recordarlos.Una de las dependientas hablaba un poquito de inglés, así que pudimos preguntar alguna cosita. Nos decantamos por un pastel de almendra y otro de chocolate.Todo buenísimo.

I've eaten here this afternoon, on a day trip from toulouse. both the customer service and the Jambon-Beurre sandwich were stellar. I even returned there for a pâtisserie after I walk to the top of the village and back! highly recommended.
love this cafe cum patisserie. has everything from great and happy customer service, many tables available, delicious pastries, good caffe o’lait, in the center of cordes, what more can they see the world by. many visits, the same quality.

I had a coffee cute here. it was absolutely very good value for money. I would recommend to the tourists to visit cordes.
One of the best plates of food in Emmet county. Halibut was 3" thick, All good here!!!
