Overall, we did not enjoy our experience at Provesi. After we ordered clams oreganato as an appetizer, told they did not have clams oreganato, but did have clams casino. So we ordered fried calamari instead for an appetizer, and my husband ordered a dish with clams for dinner. They also said they did not have mango for the baby arugula and mango salad, so I said I would have the salad special instead. When the salad 's came, my husband 's Caesar salad was so tiny, and my salad turned out to be the one I originally ordered (with the mango). The waitress said, oh they had the mango. Our server strongly suggested the Tortellini Pavesi, and I'm so glad I took their advice! Pavesi never disappoints, but this dish was truly outstanding. It was packed with flavor, and the tortellini was cooked to perfection. The combination of prosciutto, mushrooms, and peas blended wonderfully with the creamy sauce, creating a flawless meal. Be sure to try this on your next visit!
The food and ambience was good, however the service was not. We had a show to attend down the street and got to the restaurant almost 2 full hours before and had to run down the street to the theater. If you don't have a time limit (and they asked us when we got there if we were attending the show) then it's fine, but they definitely need more help.
We ate at Pavesi after a 4:00 show at the MPAC theater in Morristown. The host was very accommodating when we didn't like the first table we sat at. He immediately moved us to a better table. Service was excellent, very diverse menu. Would go for dinner again.

We were excited to find this restaurant that offers delicious, authentic Italian cuisine. The Capellini di Mare was amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the music added a wonderful ambiance. I highly recommend it!
I visited this restaurant for the first time on Mother's Day. The service was not great, but it was very busy. The live music was nice and the food was good. I just wish that the wait staff was more organized and attentive.
Their pizza is fresh and delicious- we had as an appetizer. The main course was very tasty. I had salmon which was done to perfection and the vegetable was not cooked so it was not overdone plus ample portions.
Horrible service and food was mediocre at best. My mother wanted Caesar salad and they were out of the correct lettuce. Well run down the street to the supermarket and buy a few bags! Waiter was clueless

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant - the service was excellent and quick, even when the dining room was full. The veal saltimboca was absolutely delicious. Plus, it's BYOB!
We always choose to dine at this restaurant in Morristown. The food and service are always exceptional.
