Peaked Pies Burnaby Heights

After a nice 4 hours biking around Simon Fraser Trail , we stopped at the Peaked Pies for washroom and lunch break , it is a Australian bakery and I belived they have three location in Whistler , West End and Burnaby , their signature dishes is PIE ! PIE ! PIE ! variety choices from Chicken to Beef , very friendly bright small bistro with a small patio out side , great for our bikes and very affordable , my Steak and mushroom pie with mash and peas , Oh surprised very flavourful and not salty , lot of meat filling inside about six inches across not very big size , crust not too oily , very tasty ! better then my mum's Fish Chips Shop in U.K , we serve 8 to 10 inches in UK very traditional ,...

i showed up at 7pm on a Sunday. the very tiny patio was being shut down. i asked to sit outside but i did not a nice response from my server. i did manage to sit outside on a beautiful evening.The steak and mushroom pie was served within 5mins. Microwaved for sure.The pie is supposed to be full of chunky steak....Not at all. the crust was soggy from being microwaved. bland mash and peas.i paid almost $30 including a tip.i was dissappointed for sure.i could have got more BEEF if i got one of those #5 burgers at Mcdonalds.Wheelchair accessibility: okay

Really satisfying savory pies perfect for lunch. They 're not cheap pies by any means but they 're definitely tasty pies with flaky crusts.Highly recommend to get them peaked which adds mashed potatoes, mushy peas, and gravy on top. The filling themselves are already moist, but gravy makes everything tastes better!The mini lamington cake on the other hand was alright. It was slightly dry imo, but we 'll definitely come back to try their other pies.

Unique experience with good food. Pie was tasty especially their gravy and we really liked their Spinach ricotta roll. Price is ok and food are good in general. It took minutes to prepare our order. I don’t know if there were designated parking for this restaurant but there should be free street parking not too far around. Overall, recommended.

I wanted have traditional Australian beef pie and lemon meringue.The pie was spot on , a flavour bomb , I couldn’t resist and take photo of that pie .There coffee is also really nice .Atmosphere is cool cafe vibe .But the lemon meringue pie was a waste of dollars. It was so so sweet , I feelLike I needed another beef pie to clean my palate .

A nice place to visit in Burnaby when you have a craving for some meat pies. Always get it topped, it is totally worth it. My favourite ones are the kangaroo and the steak and mushroom pies. Will come back time and again to try out the different kinds of pies they have. Reasonably priced considering its a in house made pie.

The Pie surprised us! We were attracted by it’s beautiful exterior and interior at first, they have some lovely spots could let customers seat outside chatting with friends. We tried the Chucky steak mushrooms pie with peaked on top. It tastes so delicious!!!!!!! Highly recommend

I lived in Australia and these pies sure are authentic and even better quality than those you can grab from a bakery in oz. Never had a bad experience, great pies.
