Absolutely fabulous Sunday roast experience one of the best I've had in recent memory. Despite it being a busy, busy lunch service, the staff were all very attentive and positive. The cognac I had with dessert was even served on a tumbler of hot water! The vegetarian wellington was top notch as was the sticky toffee pudding. Great selection of local beers including lovely stuff on cask. Prices all very reasonable for 2023. We parked right across the road in the council office car park which is £1 Saturdays and free on Sundays. Worth going out of your way for a roast here, we will definitely be back, hopefully soon. Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian and vegan options available. Vegetarian wellington was excellent. Parking: Parking opposite in council car park, free at times including Sunday.
