Pelican Seafood Market And Grill

I had a great experience at Pelican Seafood Grill today! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was fabulous, and the service was top-notch. I tried one of their signature dishes and was blown away by the crispy skin and special lemon sauce. The combination with the juicy white meat was delicious. Even though the crab cake was a bit pricey for dining in instead of takeout, it was definitely worth it. This was my first visit but it won't be my last. I even added some photos for my next visit because I want to try all of the dishes they offer!

This is one of my go-to places for seafood! No fuss, great quality, great value, and never disappointed. Their fish and chips are amazing and I love that the fries are given as much attention as the fish. Everything is super fresh, the service is lovely, and nice casual vibe. Things you have to try! We had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Pelican! It was our first visit and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. Our dishes were amazing with perfectly sized portions and fresh seafood. The only downside was the table we were seated at. We were by the window and there was a cold draft. I tried to pull the curtains closed to block it, but they were just for show. Despite that, we will definitely be returning to Pelican!

I can't say enough about the fantastic service at this restaurant! It is definitely one of my top 2-3 favorite spots in Ottawa. The food was absolutely amazing, especially the lobster poutine which stole the show. The lobster roll, fish and chips, and clam chowder were all delicious as well. You absolutely need a reservation as the restaurant will fill up even on a weeknight, and I can see why. Every single dish served was delicious, for a place that's 300km from the ocean, the seafood tasted very fresh. My only nitpick is that the oysters were a bit briny without other flavours, but it's at the best price available inland. Still, I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Getting reservation was quick and easy, got a table immediately when we arrived. Went here specifically for oysters and luckily we reached at Happy hr. Fantastic fresh oysters, first time for my wife and she loved it. Also ordered Lobster shrimp roll and fish tacos which were amazing too, presentation and service was great. A must place to visit in Ottawa.

Great spot to get your seafood fix! The young man who helped us was very friendly and my Mom even commented on how good looking he was. (shout out to my female viewers ; I tried a cod cake and a crab cake. Both with the horseradish dip and they were both very good. I preferred the cod cake myself. Next time I’ll grab a seat for a dozen oysters
