Disappointed! Soo sad they are taking advantage of inflation. Charging more for tacos green burritos difference is they are all smaller can't believe the size of burritos. Not going back were done with Pepes. For now on chanos they're not stingy withtheir food. Burritos much bigger especially the Mix-up my favorite. Or macho Cafe is better even tia gladys. You're gonna loselots of customers. I rate you at a 1. Sorry not sorry! Maybe alhambra location better. Idk. We have been coming to Templecity location for years. Not anymore.
I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and I really appreciate that it opens early enough for me to grab a bite before heading to work. My brother and I shared a Breakfast Burrito since I can never finish one by myself. It's my favorite dish because it's incredibly delicious. I'm disappointed to hear that the Downey location will be closing soon, but I was pleased to notice that the staff here offers much better service.
Pepe’s make my Pepe’s fully extended and ready for the day. With great food, comes great service. Please eat here, it’s delicious. The people are always so helpful and friendly and the atmosphere is unmatched. A place for lunch breaks or whole parties.
We dined inside the restaurant, but it was quite hot, and I ended up sweating. Next time, I'll definitely opt for takeout. However, the food was incredible, and I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I’ve visited this restaurant five times, and I find their food and portion sizes to be quite good. However, there were a few issues that need to be addressed:
1.
Great taste and portion size. Got the soft carne asada taco dinner combination with rice, bean and guacamole and all tasted delicious.
My favorite dish here is the chili cheese. It’s not your typical American-style chili. I would definitely recommend it!
This restaurant serves the most amazing chili verde burrito. It's fantastic and clearly the highlight of the menu.

I was really craving some breakfast burritos and super fries with carne asada at 6 in the morning.
I can't believe I've lived in this area for so long without ever visiting Pepe's.
