Am a resident at the Uni so have seen Pepperz daily for some time. The menu is extremely limited. Whatever does not sell at lunch (which already looks like it's been hanging around for hours...) is rehashed into dinner. The overall food portions are small and relatively expensive. The food quality overall is poor, ranging from burnt for things like parmies, schnitzels and lasagne, so fishy and not consumable for the squid rings, through to like hours old re-heats for things like chips. Whatever does not sell at lunch is transformed into a dinner menu, again, hours and hours old, dead and tired. If you have any respect for your digestive system, don't go here!

If I'm a resident at university, Pepperz have seen every day for a while. The menu is very limited. Whatever is not sold at lunch (which looks like it hangs around for hours... is moved to dinner. All food components are small and relatively expensive. The overall food quality is bad, from burned for things such as parmies, carvings and lasagna, so fishy and non-consumable for the quid rings, until like hours old warming for things like chips. Whatever is not sold at lunch turns into a dinner menu, again, hours and hours old, dead and tired. If you have respect for your digestive system, don't go here!

The food here is usually pleasant and not too expensive. You often have some very good options available. The staff is usually friendly. The café has a large place to eat. Would definitely recommend for affordable meals of good quality on campus at UTAS. I would recommend to those who live in student accommodation.

For a campus restaurant, the food is surprisingly of a high quality. For Tasmania, the prices are very reasonable. Hours can be somewhat difficult to navigate (11-7) during the summer time.
