Peppino has been a fixture in Kensington for as long as I can remember. There is always a welcoming smile when you stop by. The sandwich menu can be daunting. So many options, only one appetite. After close to 20 years, I can say with confidence there are only good choices. Spicy? Vesuvius? Healthy? Crantastic Turkey or maybe a Mediterranean. Hungry? Popped in to order a couple of sandwiches from their menu board today. Service was pleasant and efficient. Once the orders are made the staff jumps into their routine in slicing the fresh bread rolls and the cold cuts needed for the job. Nicely wrapped and sliced in two the sandwiches are ready to go. My friends went to the car while I got sidetracked to another shop. By the time I got back to them, the sandwich they shared was gone and smiles covered their faces. Mine was just as good. Next time I'll grab mine and walk down to the river to enjoy it.
Fantastic family owned Italian deli. Selections are amazing and it's impossible to make a bad decisions. Been coming here for years , daily specials are always new and exciting. Frozen fridge with tons of stuff you could purchase for your own cooking. Snacks and other great delights, patio during warm weather and a very cozy spot to grab a quick bite
So good. All the ingredients are fresh and really delicious. It's clean and everyone there is very friendly as well. You should try to stop here for sure if you are travelling in Calgary. Parking can be a bit of a challenge when it's busy but if you're willing to walk for a few minutes you should be fine. A wonderful place for a delicious lunch.

Tried Peppino for the first time today and loved it. My wife and I each had a sandwich, both were quite large, fresh bread and very good. Great selection of sandwiches to choose from, and a variety of pastas and sauces you can take home to make. We'll be back!
Want a fresh sandwich, this is the place to go. We make a point of going out of our way to eat here when we travel to Calgary. Something for everyone and they will substitute items to suit your tastes. Great small grocery selection at this location as well.
We have been here many times- best sandwiches around and many choices- even a large vegetarian section. Very friendly service with a smile- italy feeling like you belong and are part of their family while you are there.
Ordered for the first time the other day. I had the Geneva salami sandwich and it was amazing. Great for when you're craving a delicious deli sandwich!
