Following the excellent reviews of this restaurant, I decided to book for a meal with my grandmother (Italian origin . Well, we were won over, from the main course (gnocchi with excellent truffles! to the dessert, the flavors were present, with fresh and well-prepared products, a real pleasure! Add to that an old decoration and you will have the perfect Italian break in the heart of old Nice. We will come back without hesitation! Service: Dine in

I've been coming to Nice for 20 years and this little authentic restaurant is such a wonderful find. The welcome and service was warm and friendly and the dishes were so tasty and very reasonably priced. Lovely cosy atmosphere, it was nice and warm inside (which was nice having been to two bars enroute which were not). If you get the opportunity and you enjoy traditional Italian food I recommend you dine here. Meal type: Dinner

We had lunch on Sunday May 1st in peppino. We went there thanks to the opinions we read. a real pleasure, for the eyes, the decoration is authentic, and for the taste buds. service is a little happiness: smiles, kindness, professionalism etc. closes eyes. a dish, however, the furious desire to come back: bravo to both, it was a good time for us. I promise, we'll come back if one day we'll be right back.

Un petit coin d’Italie au milieu au milieu du vieux Nice. On ce sent comme chez “la mama “ avec une ambiance et décoration d’an temps, que vous retrouverez dans vos assiettes autour des lasagnes mais pas que ! Service très sympathique et plein de sourires ! Thanks to TA reviewers we had dinner at Peppino, what a great restaurant. We had the joues de boeufs and the vegetarian lasagne without pasta. Both plates were amazing and tasty. Service was excellent, the wine list is good (only Italian) and the menu is short and varies from day to day. Note that there are only a few tables and it 's quite busy. Highly recommended

This is a lovely family run restaurant in Nice old town. Decent selection of wines and a very simple menu with about 5-6 choices of main course; makes it very easy to choose! Lasagne was excellent as was the Charcuterie we shared. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.

The service was very slow and the food was mediocre. They had a very small menu compared to what was listed online.
