We chose Persian cottage to have a private dinning upstairs for our wedding reception. This involved only immediate family and we wanted somewhere where we could enjoy amazing food and relax. Persian cottage (Mohsan) went above and beyond to make the whole experience perfect. They listened to all of our individual requests for food and allowed the florist and wedding planner to completed transform the room to make it perfect for us. This is a lovely restaurant with lovely friendly staff and fantastic food. My only gripe is that our mains were brought out while we were still eating starters, a particular hate of mine. I do think they should wait until you have finished and clear the table before bringing out mains. There were not many people in and it did feel rushed. I do feel a missed opportunity to serve alcohol whatever the reason. I took a bottle of red wine but not sure if they are able to offer wine buckets to keep white or rose wine cold or beers. I would go again but will ask staff to let us finish starters first before serving mains. Food is well worth a visit absolutely gorgeous.

I’ve lived in Iran and London but this is best Persian food you can find anywhere…Mohsen, the owner and staff are so kind and helpful with the menu. The meats used in the kebabs and stews are cooked to perfection. Have the kashk bademjum starter and the zereshk pollo chicken and mixed kebab. You won’t regret it! Kheyli mamnun azizam!

Everything was perfect the food and the service was excellent you couldn’t wish for anything better. Such a warm friendly atmosphere we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Lovely meal tonight. We don't live in Middlesbrough anymore but whenever we are visiting, we make sure we head to Persian Cottage. The food and hospitality is always exceptional.

As always beautiful fresh food, and great service! We never felt rushed and just sat there for hours eating and chatting, always a favourite to come back to! Had a lovely night.
