We found this place in two different ways on the same day... saw it in the current American Express small business promotion, then, later that day we were walking through an arcade in Surfers Paradise and saw the restaurant. This place has been my regular Chinese for the past years,not the best but ok. Yesterday I was OUTSIDE in the arcade when a chinese man approached me and asked could he take my order. I said no ,just reading the menu THEN a...second man came out and asked what I wanted to order. very pushy,I have now worked out they have NEW owners.I went in ,ordered my s/s pork then looking for a second dish , the cook was very very pushy trying sell everything on the menu,I chose curried prawn and rice.Take away. Got home The s/s was fair but it was just pork and onions some carrot. no capsicum no pineapple ,the fried rice was just boiled rice with some peas and onions. Then came the curried prawns smelled...
Basic but yummy and cheap food. Greeted immediately and felt very welcomed. It feels like a little hole in the wall place, which was fun for the kids. Good selection on the menu. Kids were happy with dumplings. I had chicken cashew. Plenty of veg...cashews and meat. Prices were quite cheap so I expected quality to suffer, but it was pretty good. Basic Chinese food. Hot and cooked to order. We ended up eating off each other’s plates, just so we could try everything. Surprisingly good. Not gourmet by any stretch but really good for a family.
Don't be misled by the fancy pictures of the promised meals- what get delivered is nothing like this at all. For example -one of the dished we ordered the mixed meat chow mein for it arrived with hardly any meat, and much of...the ingredients shown in the photo missing. Mostly noodles with hardly anything else what a total rip off for I would have sent it back and asked for my money back if I had not been with my partner who prefers not to make a scene. What a total disappointment! Never, Never again!

Out for a cheap family meal early evening in Surfers Paradise. This little place down a mall seemed OK, but as we were the only dinners staff seemed more interested in talking to a visitor. Food was greasy, satay was awash with peanut oil. Wished...we had kept looking for something better.
Very good price and quality. The amount is really enough. I doubt the person who said hardly meat and overpriced is a professional negative commenter. We had chicken Cashew, BBQ Pork and Mongolia Beef, it's really fresh and the meat is soft. Many egg in...the fried rice it's very tasty.
Paper plates and cups, plastic cutlery...have frequented here many times over the years but sadly will be our last. Two mains came, then the third but then over hour for dumplings, we’d all finished our meals.
Love the meals from here, great value, good portion sizes. Lovely owners Have returned multiple times and will return again.

Great fried rice. Friendly staff. Our order was made fresh and came out quickly. Recommend for take away.
Had dinner nights in a row we thought it was that good. mains with rice and entree pretty good.
