Petes Coney Island

This is an amazing little family owned Coney island. I've been coming here with my family since I was 6. I'm now 44 yrs old! I have never had a bad experience with them. The staff are always friendly, polite and respectful. There food is absolutely DELICIOUS !!! Don't let the price fool you. There worth there weight in gold. Lots of menu items to choose from and there cooked right in front of you. Over the years; the interior is not as flashy when I was little, but there very clean and sanitary. This place has been here since my childhood and it is a Pontiac Michigan institution. Even through a pandemic they still work and serve nothing as the best food to clear your lunch. Try her navy bean and ham soup as well as her gumbo soup. But you can't go wrong with a good old-fashioned Coney Dog. In crazy times, as we have these last few years, do not forget to support your restaurants and service industries. Without her, America would be in a sad state.

I enjoy their coney dog and chili, but they continuing to be carry out only, this is an issue, how do you eat a coney in the car? You just wear it. Maybe a ridge hot dog box, not wrapped in wax paper. The last time I was in the area and stopped in . I walked out without ordering because I didn’t not wanting to wear it or deal with soggy dig when I did get home. Went to another Pontiac institution “ Chief Dig” on Walton blvd.

I give it a 5 because of personal history. My mom used to take me to the original restaurant when it was off of Jackson St. In fact, she told me that she and my dad went there the day after they got married. Pete's has been around a LONG time. The chili is a little watered down, but hey it's still one of my favorite spots. Reserva una mesa ahora

A perfect old school coney island. Looks like it hasn't changed in 40 years and they make great, simple food. Their hash brown game is untouchable, just look at that crispy crust.

Not too salty, not too strong onion, not too fat or salty dog, touch of fried bean?. Perfect for me. Buns gets little soggy mouse that they wrrapen with wax patrol. I tried.

Nice place appreciate real hamburger meat and real chilli they only serve dogs and burgers but I'm ok with that they don't have to be open tks Pedro.

You have the best coneys in Pontiac. They close early. And no fries, but it's worth getting involved for the Koneys.
