Every time I've come to Petra Greek I end up disappointed and I've decided it's not worth trying again. The food is not hot, and I've wondered several times if it was because of having it delivered but yesterday I went and picked up in house and even fresh the fries were closer to room temp. The chicken was overly seasoned (with thyme or rosemary. They charge almost $3 for a small (1-2oz side of tzatziki which is so far over priced. And the customer service is not hospitable at all. There are far better (and better prices Greek and Mediterranean restaurant in and around Folsom that feel more authentic and higher quality food.
The food was satisfactory, but the chicken was too dry. The special plate includes pork, chicken, and beef, and the portions are quite generous. However, the restaurant could benefit from more frequent cleaning; I even had to ask the person at the register to wipe down the table next to us. When I requested a high chair, I had to go get it myself from the corner. Overall, the prices are a bit high for what you get. It's worth a visit once, but I probably wouldn't go back.
We love this place. We go here a lot. The gyro salad is huge and is 14.99 so not too bad for the amount of food.The Petra special plate is so good. It’s a little more expensive but you get so much food.I also love the Petra fries and the feta/tomato appetizer.Honestly I’ve never had anything I hated here. It’s all very flavorful and fresh. Lots of options even if you don’t have an adventurous palate.
Delicious food! I absolutely love the kebabs, the beef meatballs (though I'm experiencing a food coma at the moment), the beef/lamb gyro, and their pita. My only issue is that they charge $2 for a tiny cup of tzatziki, which feels a bit stingy. Additionally, the service could be more friendly. Overall, I’d rate the food a 5 out of 5!

A great place for a Greek influenced meal when in the area. Good selection of food to choose from and pretty generous portions. Decent size, good atmosphere with inside and outside dining. A good change of pace and worth a try if it's your first time and going back if it's not.Food: 5/5

Great Greek restaurant in Folsom. Had almost one of everything, and it was all delicious, especially the soup and grilled halomi.
Amazing quality and nice atmosphere!! 100% recommend. Especially the fiery feta and chicken gyro
