Now, let's talk about the food! This restaurant has truly set a new standard for Italian cuisine in our family. We loved every single dish we ordered! I’m usually not a fan of tiramisu, but I was so impressed that I even inquired if they sell whole cakes, as I would have considered it for my birthday!
I highly recommend visiting and sampling everything on the menu. We ordered a variety of soups, main courses, and shared desserts for four people, and it came to around $120, which I find to be very reasonably priced.

I've lived in Santa Barbara for decades and this is the first time I've been to Petrini's. It's a jewel! The food was delicious, spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, and even the stroganoff... Yes stroganoff at an Italian restaurant! A great Caesar salad that you can order to share with as many people as you like. The main waitress is wonderful, direct friendly and a little sassy! Prices are reasonable with most items in the 15 to $20 range with a menu that goes on and on and on. Atmosphere is old fashioned neighborhood Italian with checkered tablecloths but not the overly worn and scruffy look that such places sometimes take on. We will certainly go back!
I have only dined-in in the past and it has always been a great experience. Last night, I ordered a meal take-out and was basically given other patrons left overs. The pasta, meats, vegetables were dry and it was 1/4 of the serving placed on a tableif eating in.
The food was incredible! I had the pork chops with mushroom sauce, and they were delicious. The service was excellent—very quick and friendly. The atmosphere was family-friendly, making it a great place to dine.
