I wish I had photos of the food. We had such a great time, it didn't even cross my mind! After a 9 hour road trip and a half mile long walk through town, we found the restaurant just off Main St. We visited for a wedding rehearsal dinner and it was gorgeous inside. The establishment is cozy, and the food is delicious. We were running an hour behind and were greeted with warm welcome and amazing service. We would definitely recommend this place if you're ever in Carbondale.
We ordered the bacon flatbread, spaghetti with mushrooms in red sauce, and the Parmesan risotto. Everything was fresh, beautifully packaged, and absolutely delicious. The highlight of the experience was that the owner, Pierre, personally brought our takeout to our car and engaged in conversation as if we were old friends. What a gentleman! It was a wonderful dinner, and we will definitely be back!
Because of Covid it was carry out only we did not realize this until we got to the restaurant. The owner was a sweetheart, brought our menus and spent a little time talking. My friend had eggplant and she said was delicious. I had spaghetti (which I usually order) with Angel pasta and meatballs. Big enough servings, I had enough for two meals! Delicious!
First time I tried PETTINATO’s and I was so impressed with the time I was given explaining the menu and specials, and delivery service was fast and everything was hot…now let’s talk about the food. This fine dining establishment has been a family favorite for decades. Amazing food, decadent presentations and the most gracious of people. Truly enjoyed my dinner tonight and was a real treat to talk with Pierre about days long ago! XO
This is our favorite spot for family celebrations or casual gatherings. Pierre is fantastic, and the food is exceptional. To say that Pettinatos feels like part of our family now would be an understatement.
Great little find. Wandered in only to discover they only do carry out. Owner was wonderful; made fabulous eggplant Parmesan and shrimp with linguini in a jiffy while we waited. It was delicious!!!
I had their chicken Marsala tonight and it was absolutely delicious! The salad and bread were fresh and the service was excellent. Definitely will be ordering take out again soon! Reserva una mesa ahora
