Once upon a time...I've eaten there before. It was good. Once the cordon bleu came running. That can happen. Today the Wiener Schnitzel was burnt again. I let it go back. The second one was fried too spicy in some places. But hunger didn't quite do it either. It was just too bad. The boss didn't think the schnitzel was burnt. Still boasted that he was a chef. I smiled because the person opposite was also a chef. But you don't have to be a chef to not burn a schnitzel. All dishes here are served in one pan. It's good if the food goes with it. It just doesn't suit some people. It's not always easy to eat from it either. Anyone who likes it will probably find it great.
I can't understand the pretty good reviews. 2 x Cordon Bleue seemed like ready-made frozen food to me. Roast onion roast with the cheapest fried onion BRUSHES out of the bag doesn't work at all! Meat was OK. I have often made fried potatoes much better myself. Drinks and service were fine. One visit is enough for me. Another review posted a picture of an onion roast here. This is how I imagine an onion roast. Mine didn't look so positive.
Very, very friendly host and waitresses. A pleasant stay with very good food and courteous service. Nice surprise (apple cake served with a fire fountain) for our birthday “child”. Great atmosphere and a beautifully set table for our small celebration (6 people). All in all 100% recommended. Thank you for the lovely evening.
Wer einmal beim Pfandlwirt gegessen hat, weiss, was gute Küche leisten kann! Wer öfter dort isst, erkennt die enorm große Auswahl an Gerichten, die immer excellent zubereitet sind. Zu den verschiedensten Zutaten gibt es in diesem Seiselokal unter anderem 5 verschieden zubereitete Kartoffeln. Das ist großartig!!

Nicht nur abends, auch mittags haben wir sehr oft Appetit auf die Küche vom Pfandl-Wirt! Die Atmosphäre, die Freundlichkeit und speziell die guten Speisen erfreuen uns immer wieder!
I was eating at the Pfandlwirt last Monday and had oven-fresh duck that was excellent and very fresh and I will be coming back more often now.
