Pho is my absolute favourite food and I know all the good pho places in sydney, and I love pho so much ive been to vietnam as well to have the most authentic pho. However recently I haven't been able to have any good pho bcus of lockdown and all the vietnamese restaurants in my area are rly westernised and terrible. I can't even travel to the good places in cabramatta, bankstown because of lockdown. When I noticed this place on menulog, I didn't exactly have high hopes but as soon as I received the food and had first glance I knew this one was going to be good. Craving Vietnamese, and was not disappointed ..had the Rare Beef Pho with Tripe and you can smell the 5 spice aromatics all packaged up! Beautifully packed layered in take away bowl all you had to do was flip the meat add the broth layer your fresh leaves on the side. Will definitely be back on my list for weekly dinners. #supportlocal
To be honest, based on my first order, the pho here is not authentic. The noodles are slightly off, and the broth tastes more like a clear soup. I also ordered a black roll, which was very small and not worth ordering again. The best pho I've had is still from a place in Bankstown called To Pho.
It's a very small restaurant, and I expected the food to be average. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! The owner, who also serves, was friendly and added to the experience. I wish they had more space. I will definitely visit again!
