I dropped by Pho Nam Bac for a late lunch and had a fantastic experience. The flank steak pho was delightful, and the shrimp pho was equally impressive. The spring rolls were exceptionally fresh and flavorful, paired with a delicious dipping sauce. The service was friendly and attentive. Despite being a simple spot in a strip mall, it’s definitely worth a visit. Next time, I’m looking forward to trying the egg rolls. I will surely make this restaurant a regular in my dining options. The only thing I wish they had was ice for the drinks. I truly love this place!
Great place! I really love their pho, although I wish they wouldn't prepare the noodles too early. It seems like they do, as the noodles are often clumped together and require some effort to separate. Still, that's the only downside I've noticed! The broth is flavorful, the vegetables seem very fresh, and if you ask nicely, you can make it spicy. The food is excellent, and the staff is friendly. It's not a fancy spot, but it's definitely delicious!

At least it seems like they do, as the noodles are usually all stuck together and need a little coaxing to separate. Regardless, that's the most horriblething I've noticed! The broth is delicious, the veg appears quite fresh, you can get things spicy, if you ask nicely. Goodfood, good people. It isn't fancy, but it sure is tasty!
Ordered Pho to go, the portion of noodles they gave me was unacceptable, it wouldnt even fill up a toddler. I basically paid $17 for just the broth. The meat tasted rotten and looked rotten. I would not recommend or even give this place a 1 star. Viet Taste in Libertyville is 110% better. Not bland, perfect amount of portion, tasteful, service is great, and the prices are cheap.

The experience was satisfactory. The portion sizes were quite generous, which I appreciated. The spring rolls were also enjoyable. However, overall, the food was just average. I believe Viet Taste in Lincolnshire offers better quality. Additionally, the service could have been more welcoming. I simply requested some hoisin sauce for my bun—was that too much to ask?
The food is satisfactory for a quick pho craving, and their banh mi is quite delicious as well. However, I’m giving it three stars because I overheard the manager shouting at an employee to add a lot more ice to my coffee while removing most of the actual coffee. Consequently, my drink ended up being mostly ice. Given the price, I found it quite disappointing.
I am a big fan of Vietnamese cuisine, and Pho Nam Bac is my favorite spot on the North Shore! They serve fresh, delicious dishes with generous portions and healthy, flavorful ingredients. I've ordered from them numerous times and have never been disappointed!

Fantastic beef pho. We got meatballs and brisket. I'd give five stars but the shrimp spring rolls just had too many noodles inside of it. And I wanted a piece of mint but that's just me. the pho was outstanding
They refused us dine in, apparently its takeaway only. Beef was overcooked and food wasnt that tasty.
