I was really disappointed last night! I decided to try Pho Tan Vinh for the first time since it was the closest option. We eat pho often and can easily tell good from bad. After ordering takeout, I was excited to try it at home. Unfortunately, the cilantro looked stale, so I had to remove most of it. The noodles were tough, even after soaking in the reheated broth for a while. On top of that, my chicken pho had an unpleasant bitter aftertaste that made it difficult to enjoy. I couldn’t even finish my meal. Such a letdown!
The Vietnamese coffee was okay, nothing special in my opinion. It was too small and much too expensive for what it was, it was more than five dollars for a very small cup. It also did not come with any extra hot water or the coffee filter and strainer where the coffee grinds are kept, as it does in the Vietnamese restaurants that I have been to in Arlington or Fairfax. It almost tastes as though it was made with instant coffee, too, but it was not bad. The little bowls where

Pho and many delicious dishes with excellent traditional Vietnamese flavors. The landlady is from Tan Mai, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai There is also a famous dish called Hanoi bun cha In the middle of Washington D.C, having such a Vietnamese restaurant is precious and proud! The taste is very Vietnamese and the service is very good

Remember the following: The restaurant is perfectly located in Silver Spring, MD, right next to Hotel Silver Spring. The ambiance and service were excellent. The food was satisfactory, not the best, but certainly not the worst pho I've had. I opted for a small pho for dinner. The price was reasonable.
This was a solid bowl of Pho. Broth was flavorful and had a good amount of Star Anise in it. The Beef tasted fresh as well as the bean sprouts and Thai Basil? I was pleasantly surprised.
The pho was exceptional. However, the veggie bowl seemed to be missing some vegetables. Nonetheless, everything that was included was fantastic. I can't wait to try more dishes!
My children absolutely loved this place. They have excellent vegan options! We ordered the vermicelli and the pho, and the summer rolls were the best I've ever had.

It was a wonderful replacement, since my favorite Silver Spring Pho Restaurant closed!!! It was really Awesome! Loved it I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!
I always come here to enjoy pho, and it's fantastic! I love the food and would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
