As I write this on Tuesday 6 October 2020, this pub is closed and as been for at least 7 months. Rumour as it that it is to be converted in to apartments although I see no sign of work. It was an ok pub with free pool but nothing fancy. They did not serve hot meals but you could get a local pie (Cottoms). Beer prices was roughly £2.80 per pint.
Goddess Beer offers a delightful selection of real ale in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly staff ensures a pleasant experience, making it an entertaining place to visit.
Disappointing for a real aler. Went on a Tuesday staff said there was no cask ale going on until Thursday. Hope they were just having a bad week.
The new owner is making a genuine effort to maintain the charm of this traditional pub, just like it was in the past. Reserva una mesa ahora
The atmosphere is fantastic, and there's always a great selection of authentic ales. This is truly a local pub!
