Visited the sefton today after not being in for a couple of years. Was surprised to see only 1 member of staff working in the entire pub??? The lady whose name I noticed on the till was Kate . I must say even though it was busy for 1 person to be running the whole pub on their own she was very professional . We ordered food and was told of the wait time for it to arrive . We ordered drinks one being a pot of tea and even though Kate was busy we where surprised when she said I will bring to your table ASAP. Food arrived which we throughly enjoyed. Met up with my granddaughter for a bite to eat. Decided we 'd try the Sefton and I have to say, it was a very pleasant experience. The bar-lady was on her own but, didn 't muck about, trying to serve everyone with pleasant professional comments like sorry, I 'll be with you in a minute please bear with me, I am on my own . After getting ourselves seated, my granddaughter ordered the food via her phone in seconds without, any hassle of going to the bar and waiting again. I wouldn 't have had a clue what to do but, it was very straight forward. We had a fantastic work Christmas meal Saturday night.Unfortunately our meals what we had pre ordered wasn't sent to them so we didn't end up having a Christmas meal but the staff was all brilliant with accommodating us so instead of Christmas meal we all had 10oz steak.Katie Mel sorry can't remember the other chefs name.We was also given 2 bottles of rose wine a pint of larger and a blue wkd Thankyou for making our night out a good night.
I called in with my family one evening for some tea, we were served immediately and treated with respect. The 2 staff working were polite, well-informed and even asked about our day and Xmas plans. The lady behind the bar even played with our 7month old while we ate, which we really appreciated. I believe the staff's names were Cait and Curtis. Fabulous, peaceful place to eat. 10/10.

I stopped in for a meal after shopping and had a wonderful experience. The service provided by the young man Michael at the bar and the lady Cait was excellent. Cait even brought coloring pencils and paper for my child. We didn't have to wait long for our food and the quality was great for the price. I will definitely be returning again.
I stopped by for some drinks earlier this week and was served by a friendly waitress named Annie. I had a nice conversation with her while she was attending to me, which is unusual because I'm not usually one to chat with servers.
We reserved a table for 11 people for a Christmas family meal. The food was good and the service was excellent. There was a small misunderstanding, but it was resolved in a professional manner, and everyone had a great night.
Amazing time in with some friends for food and drinks and will definitely be back again! The staff were amazing, especially Kate who was so friendly and helpful!

The one thing I'd say is the bar staff were friendly with a nice sense of humour especially Mike he greeted us well and has a good attitude. We loved him
The bar staff are great especially Mike and Carl who look like brothers and are sound, they’ve got energy that keeps people coming back
