Pho'kha Tran Restaurant

This is I think the best Vietnamese place in Bayswater. It's small and cosy and mostly you don't have to book if just 2 of you are going. Décor is okay not too flash, not exactly a posh set up but service is good and fast. Also the owners are very nice. I had the deep friend flounder and spicy calamari. Also tried the lemongrass chicken which is a staple of mine. They also do pipis very yummy and the sauce is not too thick. Perfect with rice.

I have been there many times in the past and quite like their Pho. Last night I went there and as usual I ordered a Pho, when I paid the bill, the lady asked for $14.50, I said in the menu listed only $12,50,she pointed out a meaasage under the paid counter said All dishes gone up by $1 ,so it 's $13.50 and plus $1 automatically added for Tip? I only paid $13.50 without Tip and may never go back ever again.

Tried this restaurant for dinner and ordered vegetarian pho and beef egg fried noodles for my other half. Must say the pho is highly recommended; serve is generous with the traditional condiments. Had to wait quite a while for the food though as it was a saturday night and place was almost full.

This is our favourite Vietnamese,the best Pho which is available in medium and large sizes. Their vermicelli and grilled pork is very tasty. Serves are generous and prices very reasonable. The owners and serving staff are all lovely. Chinese dishes are also available.

A very busy little resturant, very relaxing environment and good home cooking. Vietnamese chicken salad yum. Best to book at night.
