Great customer service, the people there are lovely and will talk your ear off if you give them the chance! The food is tasty and very authentic, I visited Hanoi last year and I feel like I'm there again as soon as I walk in! :)
Cute shop front, great decorations and general atmosphere, and I cannot stress enough how delicious the food is, full of spices and fresh ingredients.
Maybeeee the portion sizes could be a little bit bigger but we could all probably do will reducing how much we eat let's be honest.

A very hipster restaurant with exposed bricks, and almost steampunk style lights. But, the food was not great.
Quails were plain, could have used either more marinade, or cooked over charcoals for a smokier flavour. The specialty wagyu beef pho was a relatively small serving compared to other restaurants serving pho, and the wagyu beef did not add or make this dish anymore special.
However, the springs rolls were great. The filling being actually meaty without overusing filler such as cabbage or noodles that other restaurants use to cut cost.
When we paid, the owner said they would be working on tweaking their dishes, so maybe they'll improve. But for now, there are better pho places ar...
Fantastic atmosphere with great decor and good vibes. The service is excellent with super friendly staff who make you feel right at home.... Not to mention the food! Absolutely delicious and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Would definitely recommend the Wok Tossed chicken flat rice noodles for main course, and be sure to order the coconut sticky rice for dessert! And all at extremely affordable prices! Please make sure to take a trip to Phonatic Vietnamese Restaurant on Hindley Street, I guarantee you won't regret it!
Im initially from Ho Chi Minh and felt like going out with the family for a dinner.When i arrived the place seemed nice however workers were not so much.Customer server is quite rude, and that might have made the food experience bad as well ( The beef did taste off ). I've honestly tasted better Pho at stores at Hanson, and also for a lower price.This is a place i just cannot recommend.

Terrible. Expensive, 1 hour and 20 to get delivery and the food was: poor, they sent the wrong type (i.e. my son wanted with out chilli, even said it on the bag, but was packed full of chilli). Do not even think about ordering here. Worst experience for a long time.

The taste of the food is amazing and everyone is open to suggestions.
They have an amazing upstairs and outdoor area which i can image great for parties.
They also do great entertainment for new years and chinese new year.
Went in to see a close friend that worked their, talked to the person at the counter and he said my friend would be a bit, he later on disrespected me by throwing my food and I swore at him once, after that he tackled me choke and slaped me. -1000/10 if your looking not to get attacked this is not the place to get food.
Very overpriced and not an authentic Vietnamese dining experience!! if you want value for your money, you'd be better off at the restaurants around Hanson road. Plus, waiting time for take away rice for one person was more than 30 mins. Ridiculous? I'd say yes, for the quality of food that they served.

The worst bowl of pho I've ever had. The soup was so bland and served luke warm. My raw meat (tai meat) didn't even cook. The pho was inedible. Very disappointing and would not recommend this place to anyone.
Returned to give Phonatic another go. I went with the Bu Bo Hue this time. a good hit of chilli with a good quantity of meat. the Hanoi style spring rolls also went down well.
