I usually have a decent experience at Piara Pizza. I ordered a large half/half, Hawaiian pepperoni, jalapeño and onions. They forgot to put my order through. The wait time was close to hour to get my pizza. When I asked Juanita if they forgot to start myorder, she plain out looked me in my eyes and lied. I saw her and the pizza maker discussing the mistake and start my orderafter waiting close to a half hour at this point. I asked the cashier if she could be honest about the mistake and she plain outstared at me with no remorse, no apology! I also spoke to the cashier about the mix-up, hoping for some honesty, but she showed no remorse and offered no excuses. This was particularly frustrating as I had a hungry family waiting at home for dinner. To top it off, when my order finally arrived around 9:00, it was wrong. Instead of the Canadian bacon and pineapple I ordered, I received half bacon and pineapple, and the other half had pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions instead of jalapeños.
Unfortunately, I can't continue to support this restaurant. They need to improve their customer service training and learn to accept and apologize for their mistakes. It's disappointing to see them accept tips before providing service. I even tipped...
Ordered: custom large pizza with mushrooms, pepperoni, bell peppers, red onion. Hot wings. Pros: open during a holiday, so thank you! They also followed through with our light cheese, extra sauce request. Wings were great, pleasantly spicy. Cos: Their default pizza crust doesn?t taste much like anything and is on par with pre-baked Boboli crusts. Mushrooms looked and felt like they were from a can. Very sparse vegetables, diced/sliced incredibly thin. Suggestions for the restaurant: use fresh mushrooms. Offer aromatics as options: fresh minced garlic, basil, oregano. Use a more rustic, homemade dough.

My church often orders the deep dish cheese Piara pizza. It's so good. That crispy crust? ? Naturally I assumed their other pizzas would be equally yummy. I ordered the regular veggie pizza. The veggies tasted like they were from a can. I'm not sure what was going on with the cheese. The dough and sauce were bland. I ended up eating only the veggies and crust. I will say that their customer service is top tier. One of the workers was even nice enough to offer me a discount on a pizza that hadn't been picked up. I think I'll just stick to the deep dish. Maybe the meat pizzas are tastier.
The cashier, Yesenia, was extremely rude. I paid for my $8 order with a $20 bill and she took an unnecessary 3 minutes to check if it was real. While I understand her caution, she went overboard by holding it up, scratching it, and marking it. Her loud behavior attracted unwanted attention from other customers, making the situation embarrassing. To top it off, she threw my change at me and gave me attitude.
BEST CHEESE PIZZA FOR UNDER $9. JUST HAD A LARGE ON LUNCH BREAK; 10-15 MINUTE WAIT FOR BASIC ORDERS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU DO NOT LIKE WAITING TO ORDER ON THE PHONE FOR PICK UP 15 MINUTES AHEAD. GREAT ATTITUDE BY WORKERS MAKE EXPERIENCE A DOUBLE WHAMMY;GOOD FOOD BY GOOD PEOPLE.
Excellent pizza for the price! It’s comparable to Little Caesars, and they really load up on the cheese. If you’re looking for a quick and tasty pizza when you're hungry, I highly recommend this spot. You can’t beat the $6.99 large hot and ready pizza!
