this place is really busy, but we came in and ordered. the place was well presented with many sitting for selection, the menu was well furnished and it was nice to see a little writing up, telling them that they use local products and that everything is prepared before location. the roasted sandwiches were nice and could not find anything wrong and it was a shame that we could not find a place for cake when they looked great. if it was just a little ugly, it's a shame that the teekanne wasn't a bit bigger, but that's me.
I visited Wells the other day and got hungry, so I entered this place for the first time. Very nice atmosphere but I was in a hurry so I asked if they could do the Pulled Pork Roll for me to take away. They kindly agreed and now I can say it was the best I have ever had. The meat and sauce was delicious, the roll very fresh and soft. Accompanied by fresh salad leaves and in house coleslaw. Next time I visit I will definitely be sitting in.
a nice/ pleasant cafe. good quality eating drinks. most of the time. all the drinks meal times are of more than much proportion. Beverages/coffees are expensive. I've been visiting pickwicks for many years, it's likely to continue. but was withdrawn from the journeys of this last visit.
