Pier 7 Restaurant & Lounge

When I arrived in Sylvan Lake, my first stop was Pier 7. I was intrigued by the name and assumed it was located by the water, making it a great choice. Although it is actually across the street from the water, the view of the lake from the second-level patio was still nice (even though I didn't sit there myself). Despite it being a beautiful, sunny day with all other patios in town open, Pier 7 was not opening theirs until the following day. Not wanting to sit inside, I opted for a bowl of Seafood Chowder and a quick glass of wine. Upon my arrival in Sylvan Lake, my first stop was Pier 7.  I liked the name and thought it was on the water so thought it would be a good spot.  It is

Service was good but the menu was poor. Had the dry ribs teriyaki and fries. Salty. The waitresses brought me tiger pawns which were good.

I went to this restaurant for a date night without the kids and had the worst service ever. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Avoid this place at all costs! The food is nowhere near the standard you would expect from a reputable restaurant.
