While there may be better pizzas elsewhere, it's hard to find one better than Pieros in Wilmette, Illinois. They used to only accept cash, which was inconvenient, but they now accept credit cards. Their thin crust is decent, but the thick Ascalona crust is truly delightful and ranks among the best Chicago-style pizzas.
This is my go-to pizza spot, whether I'm grabbing a single slice or ordering for delivery. The sauce is consistently perfect—not too much and wonderfully balanced between sweet and tangy. There's plenty to choose from on the menu, but the highlight is definitely the spinach deep dish. They truly deliver on that!
Home is where the heart is, and it is definitely at Piero's Pizza in Wilmette, where authentic Italian cuisine and the best pizza around are served up the same way they always have been from la famiglia for la famiglia. Molto bene or, better yet, more perfection!

The food here is amazing. Best pizza in town, stuffed or thin .Tastes like authentic chicago style pizza . Healthy options such as gluten free and whole wheat upon request .A must try .
Love this place. Family run, a little disorganized, but always great pizza and worth the wait. Rivals Lou's, Gino's, Giordano's, etc. Pieros is the best of them all.
It's a good pizza. I can't say it's worth the long waiting period. It's a small room. There's a long line. Complete decent pizza. Well, at least try.
Great pizza. They have one of the best gluten free pizzas I have ever eaten. Tastes homemade.
