Gossip girl made these macarons famous in the West and while they are yummy I can’t get past the woman serving who told me it was a minimum purchase of 4. Firstly I’m really not convinced that was the case as there was no signage to indicate as such and if it was what an outlandish rule. I had to buy 4 to get the 2 I wanted but I suppose it’s a good way to use up your change at the airport. They are more expensive than competitor Laudree (even more so when you have to buy excess ones) but they are larger which is another reason you don’t need to eat 4 on the plane!
very good reception. Too bad that the covers of the hat boxes we wanted were all slightly damaged. For the price, we waited for perfection. Too bad that the cakes are not enough for a Saturday day. (one copy of each perfume). No luck we wanted the one who missed. otherwise the rest was fine.
I recommend a very friendly reception. excellent macarons as promised to grassy stone, but mostly fresh. A real plus for us.
