Pika Tortas Ahogadas

I recently discovered a wonderful restaurant that offers outstanding and authentic Mexican cuisine. Initially, I felt a bit uneasy being the only person of color there, but the staff made me feel completely at home. Everyone was warm and friendly, which created a fantastic atmosphere. Even though we arrived near closing time at 9 PM, instead of turning us away, the chef graciously reopened the kitchen to serve us. This kind of hospitality is hard to find and truly appreciated. The food was exceptional—some of the best Mexican food I have ever had in Paramount. I sincerely hope they never alter their authentic recipes.

Excellent and authentic Mexican food. I'm glad I discovered this place a while back. At first I felt out of place being the only brother in the restaurant but the staff made me feel right at home literally. All had smiles and are a good crew of staff. They were about to close 6 minutes before 9pm. Instead of turning us away, the chef/cook was kind enough to turn his burners back on to serve us. Most places would have said no but they said yes! And the food is the best Mexican food I've tasted in Paramount (and I've been to a few good spots in the area). Please don't ever change your authentic recipes! ?

This was crazy, waited a long time to be seated then, waited 25 minutes just to be seated outside on empty tables and waited more then 45 for our food before we took off the waiter said not to leave cause our food was on its way out already finally and the manager for Saturday sucked standing around looking pretty only. This is not worth my money I for sure did not leave any tip and if you need on make sure your customer service is on point. I will never come here again nor will I ever recommend this place ever!!!! Hey but on the bright site the bill came in quick like speedy Gonzalez.

This is my 4th time to this little restaurant and finally decided to write a review about it, I always get the torta ahogada and taquitos which they are so good soft but crunchy sauce is good spicy just how I like, the only thing is that el bolillo is a little small for the torta ahogada I fell that for that price it should be a little bigger, but hey its okay.! it's worth it Aguas frescas are good and not to sweet you can enjoy it! definitely recommend

They remodel the place! New prices, and food! The bad thing is i got pretty disappointed when i was served my torta ahogada and it wasnt like the original. Now, meat is shredded not in chunks like mexico). I also asked for a MIXTA and they used to have Buche...looks like now no more : '

The restaurant has exceptional food and service! I have visited multiple times and noticed improvements in their offerings. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is consistently delicious.

Great food, great service! I've been here multiple times before and they've gotten better and have upgraded some things. Really homey and, again, great food!
