We chose to sit at the bar and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. It was a Sunday brunch, and I noticed that my mimosa was served in a smaller glass than those around me. A woman behind us ordered a Margarita but received it in a martini glass instead. Another patron received the wrong dish; she kindly mentioned it to us but didn't bring it up to the bartender. Throughout our visit, there was a pile of dirty dishes next to me at the bar. Although there were four tables nearby, there was only one other person sitting at the bar with us. The food was decent, but we’ve definitely enjoyed better food and service at Old Forge Brewery.
After my appointment at Geisinger, I decided to grab breakfast before heading home. Although it didn't quite match up to the Waffle Shop, the experience was still highly enjoyable. Opting for a Western Omelette, filled with delectable ingredients such as ham, bell pepper, sautéed onion, and sharp cheddar, I made a special request for Swiss cheese instead. The accommodating staff gladly obliged, and the service was both efficient and friendly. Without a doubt, I would eagerly return for another visit.
The food at the tavern is outstanding! Honestly, it's hands down the best spinach dip I've ever had in my life! That's saying a lot since I order it whenever I see it on a menu. I make it at home, but it's nowhere near as good as theirs! The salmon and vegetarian ravioli were also fantastic. Overall, the inn, the tavern, and the meeting area get a perfect score—10/10! I would absolutely do it all over again!
When someone you love is suffering in the hospital, having your own respite close by so you can visit as often as possible, is invaluable. The staff is proud to offer this hidden gem, and yoy can park walk to the hospital in 5 minutes. The restaurant is also extremely convenient for all meals. Their classic big breakfast, $8.50, cannot be beat and you cannot finish it either. We will stay here again!

I only sat in the parking lot this time, but I thought, "Why not share how great this place is?" I’ve visited in the past while my husband was undergoing open-heart surgery, and I've dined in the restaurant multiple times without any disappointments. During those visits, I appreciated the cozy atmosphere of a private room, which was very comforting since I was there alone.
This is a fantastic place with a wonderful atmosphere. The food was excellent and incredibly delicious! I really enjoy trying different dishes while I'm away from home.
Went here with a friend. We both had the fish and chips. Fresh fish battered and fried to perfection. Can't wait to take hubby here. Will definitely be back!!!
I visited for Oktoberfest and was disappointed. The veal was tough, and the sides were barely warm. In the past, this dish was always excellent!
