My wife and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday during our trip to New York from Scotland. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed and were seated at a table right by the window, offering wonderful views of the track. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was excellent. The restaurant features a steak carvery buffet, and the food was outstanding. Later in our visit, the chef even came out to ask how everyone was enjoying their meals, which was a really nice gesture. He seemed like the kind of person who would take any minor feedback seriously and work to improve. We had no complaints at all, and we would definitely return on our next visit.
SMH!!! They closed pink rest. due to what i was told not enough reservations!!! So the genius in charged put all people that had them into there other rest. that was half as big as pink. totally full!!!. Did not eat there!!!! Makes no sense what so ever!!!!!! to put put close as hand and hand to eat dinner!!!! No reason why thay could of opened pink rest. and make everyone have space and relax and enjoy themselves!!!!!!1
The buffet was not held in Pink but the club room so the view of the track wasn’t as good. I spoke to the chef regarding my food allergies (celiac soy) as I had indicated in my reservation. There were only a few items I could eat (salad) On the buffet so the chef said he would prepare some items gluten and soy free for me. However he never came back and I ate salad that cost $40.
We were told that we would not be in Pink due to lack of people. We were put in Trotters Restaurant which was filled to capacity! It was very crowded, felt like people were sitting on top of each other. Food was better in Pink. Was told the menu was the same, but not so.

The experience was just alright. At one point, the salad dish was empty and it took a few minutes to be restocked. As for the carving station, the only option for the meat was very rare, which was a bit disappointing.
Buffet food terrible. Half hot items were cold and tasteless. Not appetizing. What a far cry from the old trackside and Pegasus restaurants at the old location. Staff so non-energetic. Depressing atmosphere
I would recommend Pink on the third floor, but not the Trotters Club. It was overbooked, very loud, and there wasn't enough space to navigate around the stations.
Such a great experience for my first time at Pink. Food and desserts were very good, service was great!! Will definitely be back!
