Visited Santa Fe for the weekend. The Dragon room was highly recommended to us and we were so excited to have a cocktail and take in the atmosphere! We had dinner, double checked the hours of the bar, and then headed over. When we arrived, it was completely closed for a private event. (On a Saturday night I might add) There was no information on the website to indicate the closure and it was extremely disappointing to show up just to turn right back around and leave. It was a very busy weekend for Santa Fe, as the balloon festival was going on. We wanted to eat at The Pink Adobe, but it was not open, so we tried this place. It was nice for the atmosphere and the staff was very polite and welcoming. The drinks and food were good, but the descriptions in the menu didn't give enough detail as to what to expect. We shared a 4 taco plate and one of the meats was SO spicy. I needed a drink refill and the staff was hard to get because they were so busy. The presentation of the chips, salsa, queso was good with the bowls being made out of tortillas, but it was a bit small to share with 2 people. Overall, a great little place and it is certainly a nice part of town to get to see the community and history of the area.
Another fabulous experience in Santa Fe. We were happy enough to get a place at the bar for two, had incredible cocktails, entertainment and then LIVE MUSIC! Thanks, and the food looked fantastic. We had already eaten, but we come back to Happy Hour and whenever we can. Santa Maria Fe is wonderful, but it is quite old in these days to people, wealth and general quality. It's nice to find such a jewel. Thank you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to The Pink Adobe. Housed in an old, somewhat rustic adobe building (with real wood fireplaces burning) it is a charming Santa Fe setting that feels a bit like going back in time. Steaks, seafood and New Mexican dishes are on the menu. For something even more casual check out their Dragon Room bar next door with it 's own menu and Happy Hour.

The restaurant patio is beautiful and a must see! The drinks were delicious but the food was horrible. We never complain but all three of our dishes were so gross. I ate one shrimp out of 7 because they tasted like rubber. My friend?s red enchilada tasted like powdered spice. We still tipped nicely because the service was great but the food is NOT worth $45 a plate.
We had the Dunnigan Steak, The Grilled Salmon, and the Whole Artichoke appetizer. I had the Black Dragon Margarita. Everything was excellent. In fact, I've never been able to eat Brussels Sprouts before tonight, but the way they were prepared here was amazing. The Artichoke came with 3 different sauces, and all 3 were incredible!
Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Service was excellent. Food was great. We've been eating so much these two days in Santa Fe that we could not finish or meals, but we definitely wanted dessert. If you have time, go to the Dragon Room next door for a few tequilas.
It?s been many many years since I was last here but the place hasn?t changed a bit. Super cozy and rustic. The food was nice and warming from the modern Manila clams in red Chile to the more traditional blue corn enchiladas.

Great food service. Had the Seafood enchiladas with crab lobster. Also had escargot on mushroom caps as an appetizer. They were great!
Cocktails were pretty mediocre and we were rushed out the door for a private party on a Saturday night.
