"I had the 3 piece meal with two sides and an orange bang. The leg and wing were perfect. The breast was lacking. The mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect. The coleslaw was ok. The lady at the counter was rude. Maybe she was having a bad not sureOverall the experience was just as I remember from a kid. I recommend"

Who remembers Pioneer Chicken? I do, just happened to be in the area with my husband and mother in law, saw the familiar sign and on to the Drive thru went. I had childhood memories from the 70s and wanted to reminisce. The Chicken was very good and crunchy, the mashed potatoes with gravy and the cole slaw were good too, the corn on the cob as well. I did not recall the chicken being crunchy back in the 70s, I always remembered the chicken being sort of the Shake and Bake texture but I am guessing the recipe must have changed or perhaps I was too young to remember that far. We really enjoyed the meal, I also ordered some fried gizzard's ?It was nice to see that Pioneer Chicken is still around.

since 1961. famous for crispy, juicy fried huh. well. it's just as I remembered it was more than 35 years ago. fromm! the same original logo and the same amazing smell of frying huh when they enter the restaurant! masks are required inside until they actually eat. they are still particularly careful with plastic-divider discs at location and location between cash register and customers. I chose a 2 piece upper leg and atn grinding time with masked kartoffels and a corn cot. piping hot, juicy chicken with a crispy that explodes when they bite it. corn is not as sluggish and like a certain colonel mais, kartoffeln with white engraving. I'll be back!

I worked at pto 124 in artesia ca. 1983 thru 1987. it has closed a few years later. I'm never tired of eating there because the choices were many. I visit this pto a few times in the month. a 20-minute drive is worth it. the customer service is above average. the place is well maintained. something about the used dough makes it delicious. French fries taste great. chicken strips are fantastic.

what an explosion from pastness! they had all cling to which I remember, but the brot was not, it was more like a tempo battery. the spelling combo and a wing were both good and the pommes were crispy. the flesh seems to have extra oil and the riders were perfect, go her figure. Nice to try it after forty years, and I will probably give it forty more.
