If you get me to do a 5 rating review, you got something special in my books.This place isn't fancy, have super hot gals in tight mini skirts serving you the latest cocktails, or have super duper interior design with exotic animal skin seats...all of those which would add up to a really weird place.If you can provide me with great food, and an excellent experience - you have me at 5...5 mega stars!The place is recessed from Hwy7 in a strip mall next to national sports near Keele. This 10/10 family-run restaurant offers the most delicious chicken shwarma anywhere! The flavours are rich, fulfilling and the portions are gigantic - especially the hummus, garlic sauce and perfect pickled turnips! You'll always have left-overs, so don't be afraid of the price...you're really getting two meals in one! The restaurant is out-dated, but spic 'n span clean (including the washrooms!). I go out of my way to have a meal at this restaurant. The owners are proud of the food they prepare and serve...offering to let you sample anything you haven't tried before. You won't be disappointed :)

I love this place. It holds a near and dear place in my heart. It is family owned and operated and I always feel like part of the family when I walk in the door, always greeted with a smile, a wave and a welcome back! Hands down the most delicious chicken shawarma packed absolutely full of goodness and fresh toppings. The thing weighs 5lbs when all is said and done. And don't even get me started with the garlic and mango sauce, absolutely to die for. The only downfall, waiting in the line because others feel the exact same way about Pita Golden Pocket as I do. Trust me, it's worth the wait!

This place is hard to see from the street, it look very humble but food is awesome. This gave feeling of a familly restaurant, very nice an polite people.You have to have shawarma, very tasteful and different the usual big brand Pita you find around. Also, very generous chicken porting inside the pita.This is a small gem not well known I gues.

I haven't been here in a while. Took a day off work and decided it was time to come back. I went at 1 and it was lined up! Apparently word has caught on how good this place is. Best shawarma I have ever had in the world. That good!Their sauces are amazing, recommend the garlic, tehina, and hot sauce. Very large portions. Don't eat breakfast.

I went into Pita Golden pocket today for lunch because of the exceptional google reviews. I was not disappointed. The shawarma was very good and was quite a large portion too. The staff were very friendly. The greeted us when we walked in and also thanked us for coming on the way out. It's a really nice place.

The biggest and best shawarma I've ever had in Vaughan. The most fresh ingredients and the most tastiest sauces. Go hungry because the sandwiches are massive. Been going here for years as i work close, never been disappointed! Enjoy! Call him Mr Fantastic, he loves it!

Fantastic food owner was very pleasant and informative. Gave us a sample of chicken before ordering and it was very good overall very nice people and good quality food will be back for sure

They don't skimp on portions. Chicken is delicious, hot sauce is delicious and the staff are wonderful.
