I've been coming to Pizza Chef for over 50 years and for most of that time it has been great. But over the last couple of years things have really deteriorated, particularly the service. There are tables and a menu but you have to ask for it and I'm always told the prices are not updated. So, print a new menu. Service is awful. It's like pulling teeth to get someone to take an order at the table. Last time I was told I had to order from the counter and carry it back. Please. If you just want to be a take out pizza joint, don't tell me you serve baked ziti and eggplant parm with no table service. I will not be back.
Pizza was 25 minutes late. Pies were small. Driver was not pleasant at all I should have took heed of all the negative reviews and stayed away this place as it sucks as for the pizza it was really not good at all. Was chewy and had no taste. I will not go here ever again and don’t suggest anyone else do either apparently I’m not the only one who feels this way as David Portnoy from barstool sports will also agree google barstool pizza reviews pizza chef Whitestone. In an Italian neighborhood, how do you get away with only 1 chicken cutlet in a Chicken Parmigiano hero?? Weakest hero I have ever had I expect a decent sandwich sad!! Update...ordered a full grandma pie today, and the pie was nothing more than tomato sauce on dough. Was not even hot when they gave it to me. Not impressed at all.
The young lady with the glasses behind the front counter was absolutely the rudest and most unprofessional person. She should not be working with the public. It was also very very cold in the pizzeria that we had to leave quickly. We most likely will not be coming back.

In my opinion, this is the best pizza in Whitestone. The marinara slices (without cheese) are delicious and a fantastic choice for my lactose-intolerant daughter. The staff is also very friendly!
This review is on delivery. The order came late and missing the pizza. The pizza came a half hour after the original order and this is how it was just delivered.
Can only rate what I had to eat! Don't let that stop you from entering and sitting down and enjoy good food! Coming back here to do just that!
I've been dining here for years. It's pretty good, but it used to be much better. I'm not sure what changed.

The food is always consistent, and I’ve never had a piece of dry chicken here.
The pizza and garlic knots were just average. The food was served lukewarm.
