Pizza is true to the original. The salad has olives and feta, which I don't care for, but it was fine. The ranch does not taste the same, but that isn't going to stop me from eating it. The new cinnamon bread is off the charts delicious. The cheese bread is better than it was before it used to be too thick. The folks working there, albeit clearly busy all the time, are genuine and friendly. They've preserved a lot of the original feel of the place. I've been going to Del Re for over 30 years and I'm pleased to say that Dhimiters is doing it justice.
$6 buffet with a pop? After I got the bill, I felt a little guilt for having 2 bowls of salad. Pizza was delicious. Was it all you can eat? Now I'm not sure but man..that pizza. So good. Thin crust. Whatever flavors you want. Show up between 11-2 for the buffet and die happy. Not kidding. Great little place. Was recommended to me and now I'm recommending it to you. You won't regret it
I finally have to go back to town to try this place since the new owners have taken over. I live in the area and went here when I was a kid. Usually. Large group with family and friends. I wasn't disappointed in this place. The new owners take care of it. I swear, the pizza was kind of better. The chicken soup wasn't the best, but the chili was perfect. Nice to see the place so well.
Just got take out for the first time since the reopening and have to say the pizza is 110% spot on to the original!!! Been eating at Pizza Del Re my entire life and has always been a favorite for my family, and I'm so excited and happy to see they really truly stuck to the original!!
