Pizza came out quickly and was so delicious I nearly fainted from delight. Cheese? Perfectly gooey. I asked for the cheese to be brown because I'm weird like that, and they complied and made it spectacular. The rest of my party enjoyed their pizzas as well, complimenting both the crust and the sauce. My picky Italian father-in-law was highly approving of this place, which is saying a lot! I will definitely be coming again. EDIT: I visited again for lunch with my brother and my wife, and had once more the most amazing cheese pizza on the planet. The pizza was absolutely perfect in every aspect—from the taste and texture of the crust to the fresh, flavorful red sauce, and just the right amount of toppings. The mozzarella cheese was stringy and deliciously toasted. We enjoyed a medium pizza topped with mushrooms, spinach, black olives, and banana peppers, which made for a fantastic and filling meal. The service was excellent, and I couldn't help but chuckle at the humorous signs in the restroom. It's such a shame that we don't have a place like this where I live!
This is the second time we've visited Black Rock Pizza while vacationing on the Big Island, and once again, it did not disappoint! The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the views are stunning. We ordered a personal BBQ chicken pizza and some pepperoni rolls; both were incredible and more than enough for two people! The craft cocktails and local beers were the perfect finishing touch. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for delicious pizza!
This place has the best pizza, prices, and atmosphere on the west side of the island. It's definitely worth the drive from Kona for a meal, and we've made the trip several times just for takeout! It never disappoints! If you're lucky, you can sit outside for a lovely view. If you end up inside, you'll find plenty of amusing signs on the walls to entertain you. The drinks are also great here!

Excellent food with a great view for sunset. This spot is definitely worth a visit. Each dish tasted as good as it looked. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. The location is somewhat understaffed so service can be a bit slower during rush time. But factor that in and set expectations and you'll enjoy it.
Good pizza and drinks with a nice view from the covered lanai. We have been here a few times. The pizza combinations are really varied and you're always wavering between a few different options making you want to come back and try more. The service was great which is sometimes hard to find on island.
Excellent pizza! Beautiful views on the back patio. The service was quick and efficient. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend. I loved the BBQ Chicken Pizza. My husband got the Pesto Chicken and really liked it too.
