I have booked a studio-king suite in juni 2021 for our stay on 12-14 October 2021. we are a family of 5 and we have made sure to book well in advance so that we have reasonable accommodations. we are natives who needed a place to stay while our house was humiliated. we stayed in the past because of house repairs without problems. our previous stay a few years ago was pleasant and comfortable. this stay, however, was extremely disappointing to say the least. Once I checked in, I got a smaller room with a king bed and a small sofa bed. I wasn't told that I didn't get the room. I ordered from here all the great reviews and wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, when I went to get the order, the 3 chefs had their masks under their kinn. as a cooking and cooking teacher I was also disappointed to see that - even without kovid, 1 man had a short bart without cover. I still paid for the order and wish I had rejected it. I've reported them privately, but no answer. I don't want to discuss a common one, but if I have to shop and teach with a mask, I expect the cooks in the restaurants to do the same. I will find another restaurant to support as they clearly do not respect their customers or their own coworkers who can co-vide together in a tight space without...

This place was under renovation. It really did not have a lobby. The rooms were OK but not the best the chain has to offer. At times seemed understaffed. It is quite convenient for Uptown, Magazine Street and Tulane, but far from what other Hampton's strive for. COVID and Hurricane Ida did not help. I would give it another chance in the future. It is not a lost hope property.

stay in new orleans. location with trolly stop right in front was ideal. the hotel was still in the process of renovation, but everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. will be very nice when renovations are completed.
