Capri, thank you for over 20 years of faithful service, excellent food and for being.Yes, this place is an old haunt that you just have to go back to at least twice a year ( don't live in this town). The favorite choice of my children since they could express themselves. What else can I say?!?!If you like Italian food, from fish to fire oven pizza via risotto and fresh salads, you will love this place. It is a must and definitely the best Italian in town.I have always had great service wether I requested a very quick meal (train leaving) or had a romantic and relaxing relish. The staff has stayed the same which says a lot about the management. They just seem to work together. It is poetry in motion.The wine menu is as diverse as the food one so you can always find something to either fit your choice or the your budget.Naturally, some tables are better placed then others. Everyone love the winter garden of the real garden. If you make a reservation they will plan these for you first but it might be worth asking anyway.Relax, refresh, rehydrate and relish the reassuring realms of reasonably priced restauration.
Someone recommended this place for their wood-fired pizzas so we went and ordered three of them, all rather bland (both the dough and the toppings), nothing really amiss but nothing exciting either, your typical Swiss pizza joint.Service was very nice and accommodating (Capri is a popular place for Sunday lunch), all in all, with a different expectation level, this would have been a perfectly suitable pizza lunch).
