we have already been repeatedly disappointed in pizzeria gioia with a larger group and have been repeatedly disappointed - in all matters! the location itself is actually really nice, service and kitchen however not.The pizzas taste boring and this as last time are orders wrong or not at all arrived at the table. first we had to wait half an eternality for our waiter, who remained unfriendly throughout the evening. We waited for that for almost an hour. when our drinks were slowly empty, our waiter remained either lost or concentrated on serviette folds without lifting his look. when we asked ourselves if we could drink something, he nodded that waiter and first folded half a dozen serviette...

Really friendly and helpful staff. Top quality pizza from a seriously good wood fired oven and great beer too. This was my number one favourite place in Oberursel during 20+ days stay during the past 6 weeks. Super thin crust, just the right amount of toppings, sit indoors our outdoors under umbrellas or under the sky as you wish. I suspect a lot of visitors don't find this place because it's a short way out of the town centre, but I recommend you walk the extra 500m and find it because it's well worth it. Not only that but you will be amazed at how small the bill is compared to the other restaurants in town. I have no hesitation in giving 5* across the board.

a perfect evening with friends. We were very friendly received.We had a table reserved for 7 people but only 5. the staff saw it very well and gave us a beautiful mosaic stone table. We ate pizza and meat, everything was very delicious.Our waiter was always friendly and humorous, an evening we will repeat in this local.

is our native. pizzen and pasta are good, the panna cotta is but nix. atmosphere is ok, in old mood, service could be something more professional. also know many other Italians in ursel, unfortunately no one is really top, everyone has its potential. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had the antipasti (all good) for appetizer and pizza for main. Proper tasty stone oven pizza. Strongly recommend people to try the pizza! Personally had the "pizza tonno e cipolle"

This area has several Italian/pizza restaurants. Gioia is casual and friendly. I had a brick-oven pizza that was as good as any I have had.
