We came in from out of town. Really was excited about this place. Got set down pretty quickly outside. We literally waited 5-7 before we were brought out water and asked what we wanted to drink. When asking for a few minutes to pick an appetizer, seemed like 10 mins later the server came back and took our order. The appetizer came out quickly and the meatballs were ok. I got my plate of food first and then it took about five minutes for the second entree to come out then another 5-7 minutes for the last 2 to come out. My daughter was missing her potatoes ,almost 10 mins later the server to ask if everything came out ok and we told her no the potatoes were missing, but was told by the food ru...
Despite the restaurant being busy, we were seated quickly. We opted for a table on the back patio, but unfortunately, we were placed at the first table right by the entrance and next to the drink station. There was a lot of foot traffic and excess water on the patio floor. The service was good overall but a bit slow when it came to taking our order, refilling drinks, and bringing the check. There were three of us, and we ordered the following: (1) Lasagna Bolognese, which was excellent; (2) Spicy Rigatoni Vodka with Shrimp, also excellent; and (3) Spaghetti and Meatballs, which was decent but somewhat bland. The prices for the food were in line with our expectations for this type of cuisine...
The service was excellent, but the food was meh, and my water had some algae string in from a dirty carafe it got served from. The place is way too loud, not a great place for a lunch meeting or a date. The food was quite good, but the prices felt a bit high. The location near the park creates a nice atmosphere, but overall, it was lacking in something special. It's conveniently situated in the heart of Homewood, but it didn't blow me away. I might return someday, but for now, that's my impression of Pizzeria G.M.

Had a great meal. Enjoyed a personable waiter with an awesome mustache. Recommend the Veal Parmigiano and the Rueben.

Wonderful food with a great atmosphere. The waits can be crazy long at peak times. But food sure is tasty!
Good food at a good price. Definitely a good option in Homewood.
