We were originally looking for a place to get ribs, but when the place we were planning to go to was closed, we noticed an Irish bar across the way that had ribs on their menu. Had never been to cairns before but soon as I arrived someone had put the security up to causing me dramas for no reason at all. I had done nothing there so far since April it now is nilly july have made up two reasons for this the first speaking to a girl rudely this was as big lie as they have told the jack hotel saying I was fighting there when I haven’t had a fight in 3 years! The security guard Darren 189 was an absolute delight to interact with. He greeted us warmly upon entering the pub and ensured our safety and enjoyment throughout our visit. More security personnel should be like him, skilled in interacting with patrons, especially when they are under the influence. I highly recommend this venue for a great night out, as the staff truly enhances the overall experience.
Rang today at 1pm to book a table at 6 for dinner for 2 people turned up at half 5 ordered a drink said to bar man we had table booked for 6 not sure if it be ready or not. he looked at the time and shrugged his shoulders never asked name or anything then at 6 I asked the man looking after seating people he had missed the booking and nothing he could do sorry…

Hubby and I popped in for a drink and ended up ordering dinner. $27 for t-bone chips and salad! So cheap… flame grilled. Absolutely loved it. It was Saturday night. The place was pumping. Sooo many people there but our food came out quicker than I expected. Great prices for food and drinks.
During our stroll through the town, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant and both opted for the fish and chips. They were delicious. Paired with a pint of local beer and cider, we were quite satisfied. We would definitely dine here again.
Nice venue. Really loved the hot chicken wings. Mega thumbs up. Unfortunately ordered the special of roast beef and pork sandwich. Really really dry. Luckily had gravy to soften the blow.
We enjoyed Sunday dinner , place was clean food and drinks great price Recommend the Parma and steak !! Only place that had an atmosphere on Sunday evening

The staff hate their customers. Very anti customer oriented. I was drinking and tipping all night and they cut me off for no reason. Don’t give them any .
Stopped of for lunch. Great portions and reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Would definitely go again if we are ever in Cairns again.
