my brother in law had told me how much I would like this pub. at some point we have the chance of an early afternoon shortly after Christmas. I have to say I had only one drink, but the building is a real pub not posh, but a more cozy place to sit. the renter could not have been more hospitable and know their stuff about whisky and most of the other drinks she served. I have to say the debt I ordered was the best I had outside of the country! I also enjoyed the two or three different types of whisky I tried. overall the whole experience was brilliant. would definitely visit again, just look for my next excuse.
this place was really cozy, with many corners and different planes that it felt intimate while still much space. eating was really good with a good choice of beer. the owner was really nice when super busy. everything in all it was just the right place to spend a few hours on a cold, dry day.
A must visit if in Winchcombe. All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and the food was the best I've ever tasted, especially the Eton Mess. They also have a lovely garden and are dog friendly an absolute gem.
great ales, good eating, pleasant environment with a real fire with employees, as the ambiente welcome. many history to the building. highly recommended.

Amazing pub very kind service. After performing at Gifford's this pub is the wind down go to after a hard days work
Very friendly. Excellent beer kept very well. Highly recommended. Nice atmosphere and a good fire. Dog friendly too.
Food was amazing quality. Wine was lovely. Atmosphere welcoming and noise levels low. Pretty much perfect!! X
great delicious eating and very friendly staff, also allows dogs that are an additional bonus for us.
