I ordered takeout and was pleased that the food was ready at the time I requested. The employee who helped me was friendly. We had enjoyed Planet Wings a few years ago, so we were excited to try it again after being out of the country for some time. However, this time, we found the wings to be quite small and dry—really small, with most of them being drumettes. They seemed like they may have been frozen, too. We tried several different flavors, but four of them tasted the same, resembling a sour buffalo sauce. I experienced poor service and mistakes with my simple order. The wings were small, and each specific request added to the bill. Even if you don’t want blue cheese, it’s still included in the price, and they always charge extra for sauce. The staff can be cocky and treat you as if you're there to serve them. They are stingy with every little detail, and when they get your order wrong, they never remember it the next time. They make mistakes without offering an apology or compensation. Unfortunately, they lack customer service skills and tend to overcharge, without ever providing loyal customers any discounts or consideration. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
The wings here were not impressive at all. During my first visit, I requested bone-in wings but received boneless instead. It wasn't a big issue since mistakes can happen. However, on my next visit, the wings were oddly small and misshapen. I ended up eating them all because I was really hungry, and the sauce was quite tasty. I just wish the wings themselves were larger and had more meat on them.
I tried the Original Wings in the hot flavor and assumed they would come with a variety of sauces, given their options for dry and wet rubs. That was my misunderstanding since they turned out to just be coated in buffalo sauce. The wings at this place are both affordable, varietous, and extremely tasty. I plan to go here and try every flavor. The owner of the place is extremely nice towards his customers and cares more about the customers enjoying their time rather than not. Honestly hope Planet Wings grows even further one day. Service Aura of the Place is exremely nice as well.
Hands down, the best wings within a 20-mile radius! The prices are fantastic, so forget about those other chain restaurants. It's definitely worth going a little out of your way for this spot. They offer a wide variety of sauce options. While I can't handle the super spicy ones myself, I've caught a whiff of them, and they must be incredible!
