Plas Coch Wrexham

Visited today(Sunday) on the way back from a few days away. We hadn't booked and the found us a table as it was busy. We ordered or food and picked up the drinks from the bar. The food arrived and no problems with it at all. It was hot, cooked correctly and of a good sized portion. The staff were attentive and were constantly cleaning and asked it the food was OK. We don't live nearby but if passing again we'll probably call in.

We had an early lunch stop at 11.30. We were quickly seated and drinks arrived straight away. The breaded mushrooms were lovely and the fish and chips were excellent. The chips were very crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy and the batter on the fish lovely and light. The service was excellent and the staff really attentive. We will definitely return.

I couldn't fail. my daughter and I decided to have a late tee here yesterday, the place was packed, but we got a table instantly, table was impeccable and we were really served fast, our waitress was nice and very polite and attentive, our meals came and we were very impressed! will be back with the rest of the family!

A bit slow especially when it came to the bill and it being table service due to covid regulations at the moment, but the staff were friendly. The food tasted good, and they were able to seat us without a reservation. I've been many times in the past too, and it has always been one of the best for some pub grub.

Food was really good ,just need to thicken up the gravy and would have had full marks. Staff were really nice, friendly efficient. The cake was massive and tasted fantastic.
