TL:DR; The food was good, but was vastly overshadowed by the painfully slow and inaccurate service. Very disappointed. The restaurant seemed inadequately staffed. We arrived right on time for our reservation and waited around 10 minutes before we were acknowledged by the host, and another 15 minutes before getting a table. After that it was at least another 10 minutes before our server greeted us and took our drink order. Drinks took awhile to arrive but the food arrived fairly quickly, except that one of our orders was incorrect (server said she hit the wrong button. I was the first customer to arrive at the restaurant and ordered a simple egg breakfast. After me, several other parties were seated, and 45 minutes went by while most of them received their meals. The waiter offered me an apology as I sat there, noticing others being served. It became clear that I wasn't a priority, which was disheartening, especially since I appeared to be the only African American in the restaurant. I felt humiliated, so I decided to leave and walked to Starbucks, where I was treated with respect and kindness. It's frustrating.
Reminded me of the show Cheers, where everyone knows your name! Very quaint local bar in Pasadena. Large portions, my salad was very good, I thought the tomato basil soup was a little bland. My husband’s sandwich was huge and the meat was very tender.
I dropped by for brunch and absolutely loved it! Alberto provided outstanding service, ensuring we were well taken care of and that our bottomless mimosas were never empty. The oysters were fantastic!

I took my 17 and 4yr old to have dinner. They have a really good and simple kids menu. Great place very friendly, high quality food! You get what you pay for here. Will go back for sure.
Food is on point! Customer service can be slightly off sometimes but the food is what we're here for. Everything I have had from here is definitely a winner.
